Hi 4th Grade Parents,
Tuesday is a our field trip to Lotus Lake. We will be leaving promptly at 7:45am and returning at 3pm. It is important your child dresses appropriately for the weather. (It is supposed to be cool with a chance of rain.) We have suggested bringing a raincoat and boots, as we will be near water and it may be muddy. They will also need a bagged lunch that day. Please send in your child's permission slip if you haven't already done so.
Wednesday, June 14th is the last day of school. It will be a half day and your child will spend the morning with their new 5th grade teachers.

We have finally finished testing! Be sure to congratulate your student on their hard work! Between NECAP, SBAC, Fountas and Pinnell Reading Tests and normal end of the year assessments these 4th graders have been busy! We were incredibly impressed with the progress the class has made over the course of the year. We are encouraging students to read over the summer to ensure they don't slide back in their reading. We don't want them to loose all that hard work they have done this year. Mrs. Giller will be assigning some reading as well. The library offers a great summer reading program that is a wonderful resource. We hope your child will participate!
